Traits
Gills (Mutation)
Gellys with this trait form gills along the sides of their body which allow them to filter oxygen from the water. As a result, these gellys don't depend upon their air sacs as heavily as other gellys.
Nudibranch Body (Summer)
Gellys with this trait form a large extension of skin and muscle that drapes over the eyes and the sides of the body, functioning similarly to large undulating limbs when swimming through the water. Additionally, the gellys feet develop a less defined, fin-like appearance that makes them more effective swimmers.
Frankenstein (Fall)
Gellys with this trait have a stitched-together appearance and these sections of the body can fall off if the gellys move too quickly or if the attached part takes damage. The inside of these split sections tend to have some magical, colorful effect rather than showing the internal parts of the gellys' body.
Shelled (Winter)
Gellys with this trait form a hard shell that spans the entirety of their back from base of the neck to the tail.
Werewolf Transformation (Potion)
Gellyss with this trait can take on a secondary form that is either much larger or much smaller than their original form. Each form of this transformation can have its own unique set of markings, colors, and traits but usually, there are some details shared between the two forms.
Hollow Body (Potion)
This trait causes a gellys internal body to become completely invisible and its skin translucent, displaying only their skeletal system. Similar to hollow body mhoats, gellys with this trait tend to be mysterious and despite lacking visible eyes or muscles they can navigate easily and don't lack agility compared to other gellys. Like with mhoats, gellys with this trait tend to be mute but can devise ways to communicate with others through mundane or magical means.
Conjoined Twin (Potion)
Gellys whose bodies are fused together, but unlike with mhoats and vabbits these conjoined twins are unable to separate from one another. This constantly fused state means they often have difficulty navigating small spaces and disagreements over movement which can often make them clumsy. Each twin can have their own individual traits and colors.
*It is possible to create conjoined triplets using this trait.
Leviathan (Potion)
This trait totally transforms the appearance of the gellys, causing them to take on an inorganic appearance resembling hot air balloons or dirigibles. Along with this flexible, paneled appearance, their bodies don't fully form, instead wisps of visible air magic form in locations where the body is open to the air, often around the legs and streaming from the mouth and eyes of the gellys. Those resembling a hot air balloon can have patches of wicker-like material on parts of the body, while those with a dirigible appearance can form a propeller and nose cone.
Angelic Halo (Potion)
Gellys with this trait form a strange floating halo that is ringed in eyes. The halo and eyes may be any color present on the body but must have the proper eye trait to match what is shown. Up to three halos can form around the vabbit's head, and they always produce a bright light that obscures the vabbit's face from sight.
Celestial Being (Potion)
Gellys with this trait form a body made entirely of a gaseous substance rather than physical matter. The body takes on a galactic or space-like appearance with the eyes being replaced by a glinting, star-like shape.
This trait always comes with Celestial Eyes by default, overwriting other eye traits.
Croaker's Kiss (Potion)
Gellys with this trait become more amphibious, forming four sets of frog-like eyes, a long tongue, and webbing between their toes. Alongside these details, they have a sac on their throat that is always expanded and filled with a liquid that they can spit across long distances. Their tail is also altered, resembling either a lilypad or a tadpole's tail.
The trait always comes with Croaker Eyes and Croaker Tail, overwriting other eye and tail traits.
Eeled (Potion)
Gellys with this trait are fairly unique in appearance with their body entirely lacking limbs and their face developing a shape similar to dolphins. Additionally, they form a long, flexible tail that can wrap and curl around their body.
Odd Balding (Potion)
This odd trait causes a gellys to become soft and hairless with layers of wrinkles forming all over much like one might see on a sphynx cat and in turn they form a thick layer of fur over any location where air sacs form.
Pinocchio (Potion)
This trait alters a gellys' body, causing their form to resemble a variety of wooden puppets with a more pieced-together, segmented appearance. These segments can be more stable and interlocking or looser and sectioned and sections where air sac traits are applied instead appear smooth and give off a glow. Alongside these unique bodies, gellys form strange plant-like horns that can grow and branch out when triggered by different emotions. Their emotions don't determine the type of branching plant that grows from their horns but can reflect them, such as thorny branches if the growth is caused by anger or a floral branch if caused by emotions of love. Any additional growths from these horns give off a flow, be they little sprouts, leaves, or flowers.
Rapunzel (Potion)
This trait causes a gellys to form overgrown fur that obscures most parts of the body. This hair doesn't grow in sections where the air sacs would be, but it can obscure those areas of the body when the hair falls in long drapes. Alongside this, the length of the hair can extend most tail traits beyond the length limits and even affect a gellys overall mobility when left loose.
Reverse Gelly (Potion)
This trait causes the areas on a gellys that are air sacs to swap places with the skin present on the rest of the body, meaning that their bodies become formed from numerous air sacs that puff up and overlap one another giving them a balloon-like appearance. When inflated these air sacs can impede a gellys ability to move and even see, at times causing them to stumble and bounce off surfaces with the inflated air sacs acting as protective bumpers.
Roly Poly (Potion)
Gellys with this trait form large plated sections that form from the tip of their nose to the ends of their tails, with additional plating on their front legs. They can roll up into a protective ball as a means of defense or even to roll short distances if they have built up a bit of speed. They don't tend to be great at navigation when doing so, however, and are likely to run into various objects or even other Mynrosians. Alongside the plating, these gellys often have little plated horns that stick up from where their eyes would be while their air sacs or sensory pores can be hidden below this plating, with the sensory pores sprouting from the openings between plating.
Snailed (Potion)
Gellys with this trait form a thick shell-like covering across their faces and along their back resembling a variety of snail shells, with the rest of the body becoming gooey and giving off a slime trail wherever the gellys travels. Additionally, they form a set of strange retractable eyes that can extend from the face and look in all directions without the gellys needing to move its head.
Witch's Curse (Potion)
This trait causes a gellys to form a variety of moss and ferns to grow in a thick mat over their body, often having an overgrown appearance. Alongside the plant growth, long drapes of cobweb can also form across the body while the gellys' belly becomes transparent, appearing to be filled with a glowy bubbling liquid that occasionally causes them to release bubbles from their mouth.
Gellys with this trait always have the Potbelly Air Sac trait applied.
Plant Growth (Spring)
Gellys with this mutation grow actual plants on their body, which can be any type of plant or fungi. Additionally, fruit-bearing plants can grow small fruits on the body much like they would when growing naturally.
