Unlike other species, Gellys don't regularly form visible pupils, so a trait like fish eye where a single color is present across the iris is common.

Gellys with this trait have an iris that entirely overtakes the visible surface of the eye, so while they may appear to have no eyes they can see just fine.

Gellys with this trait form irises that have unique shapes that are always one continuous, unbroken form. Shapes such as hearts, triangles, crescents, and other simple shapes are commonly seen with this trait.

Gellys with this trait form a unique iris that takes the shape of a ring. There is no difference between the eye white and the inner section of this ring, meaning they tend to display the same color.

Gellys as a species don't tend to form visible pupils, so when this occurs it's considered to be a rare mutation.
