-
Kangaroo Tail (Mutation)
This tail type is long and sturdy with the ability to rest against the ground and prevent a mhoat from falling backwards should they lose their balance.
Tufty Tail (Standard)
This type of tail is similar to that of a lion. Very thin, has a fluffy tuft at the end.
Multi Tails (Mutation)
Vabbits with this trait can have anywhere from 2 to 5 tails. This trait may be stacked to allow more than 5 tails, but each instance of the trait will require a mutation stone to be applied.
Kneaded Eraser Tail (Mutation)
Can be any shape, really, but is rigid and stiff when not being kneaded. Can erase what has been written with Graphite Claws.
Draconic Tail (Winter)
This tail has a draconic appearance where the bottom of the tail forms thick ridges and the top often has some form of spiny, plate-like extrusions. This tail can be longer or shorter than the one shown and vary in how many ridges and spines are present.
Inkpot Tail (Spring)
Vabbits with this trait form a unique glass tail with a detachable feathery quill that can be used for writing. The ink that gathers in the bottom of the vial is always a color present on the vabbit's plates but the tail itself does not need to share these colors.
Gummy Worm Tail (Fall)
This trait gives vabbits a wiggly prehensile tail that doesn't appear to be made of flesh like the rest of the vabbit's body. Instead, should a creature take a bite of this tail they will find it has either a sweet or sour flavor with a gummy texture like the candy worms. This tail appears to be useful for vabbits who spend time in the deep underground where the pets are less socialized and little parasitic creatures are just as likely to enjoy a turtonic snack as much as a vabbit one.
Reptile Tail (Summer)
Vabbits with this trait form long, prehensile tails that can have a collection of small spines that form along the tail. When attacked or surprised a vabbit with this trait can choose to drop its tail, but it will grow back over time with the new tail being flesh-colored until fur covers it.
Squirrel Tail (Mutation)
Vabbits with this trait form long, wide tails that are extremely fluffy but can also support a vabbit's weight to assist them in bipedal mobility.
Stego Tail (Mutation)
This long flexible tail forms two sets of sharp spikes at the end and allows vabbits to stand on their back legs for extended periods by supporting their body weight.
Crystal Ball Tail (Fall)
This trait causes vabbits to have a glass-like tail that resembles a crystal ball with a section that drapes over the back of the body. Sparkles and wisps of fog can also be seen floating around this tail, imagery or decoration can appear within the crystal ball itself but doesn't tend to change unless affected by a trait that allows the vabbit to transform.
Mallet Tail (Mutation)
Vabbits with this tail have a long slim tail that ends in a cylindrical tip resembling a mallet. The tail is prehensile and sturdy, which allows the vabbit to manipulate it freely for a variety of tasks.
Prehensile Tail (Timeless Ability)
Vabbits with this trait tend to form a long spindly tail with some form of hand or paw at the end of it. They can use it easily to pick up items and other things as well.
Maple Seed Tail (Spring)
Vabbits with this trait form a split tail that resembles a pair of maple seeds. These tails can wind up and when released will spin quickly allowing vabbits to hover slowly downward when jumping from tall heights, which can be useful in large caverns.
Betta Tail (Summer)
Vabbits with the tail trait, form a flowy finned tail resembling those often seen on betta fish or other fish with large flowy tails. These tails can have one fin section or multiple layered fins, extending midway up the vabbit's back.
Shark Tail (Summer)
Vabbits with this trait can form a variety of tails that resemble those seen on sharks.
