Luggy

Category: Pets

Artist: Numiauri

This strange bug-like creature is commonly seen during the winter, emerging from their long hibernation to avoid overheating during the warmer seasons. It is suspected these creatures spend much of the year underground where the temperatures are more cool and helps balance out their superheated bodies. They are cloaked in an extremely thick shell which leaves them slow and lumbering compared to most pets, and soot and ash will accumulate on their body over time, making them a fairly messy companion. Most Mynrosians who keep them will create a little hearth where they can live while providing a constant source of heat to their homes.

Astro Luggy

Category: Pets

Pet Species: Luggy

Artist: Numiauri

This variety of luggy is strange to those living in Mynros, no one is entirely sure what its shell is supposed to represent, but the space theme makes many wonder if turtonics have seen some strange things in the past. These luggy seem to release flames from the base of their shell and tend to show up on rocky terrain where their flames won't fire or singe the ground. Blacksmiths like to keep this variation of luggy to heat the fires of their forge and the luggy seem to enjoy the hot space and free meals that come from this arrangement.

Pumpkin Luggy

Category: Pets

Pet Species: Luggy

This variation of luggy is rather strange, as they seem to have abandoned the firey element others of their kind are known for and have instead developed the ability to produce acidic chemicals. The acidic saliva they produce is very effective at turning organic material into an edible sludge that these luggy feed on and given their appearance it is no surprise that they spend much of this season among the many pumpkin patches that are ready for harvest. While on first appearance they may look like some strange pest, these luggy are actually key to a successful harvest as they function as an effective scarecrow for any wandering pests or pets who might make a snack of the pumpkin patch and they also act as weeders, eating small plants that will affect the growth of pumpkin plants and later by eating the pumpkins that succumb to fungus.
