Cattypillar
Cattypillar are soft and cuddly creatures that are well-loved among mhoat; sweet and docile even when encountered out in the wild. They prefer nothing more than to laze about and soak up the sun, but their fast metabolism and singular focus when it comes to food mean they hunt voraciously for the various island parasites that hide underground among the roots of various mushrooms or just below the surface of larger mushrooms. Even burrowing under the ground to dig out a juicy morsel isn't beyond these otherwise lackadaisy little creatures, which is why mhoats that keep these little creatures of pets do well to keep a regular source of food around as they are prone to trouble.

Love Cattypillar
This variant of cattypillar is lured out by feelings of love as they are commonly seen around festivals held related to love or events dedicated to the celestial, Livinia. They are just as sweet and loveable as the standard Cattypillar, but their loyalty is more fickle. A circulating rumor is that new couples often wake up to find that their home has been invaded by this cattypillar and will refuse to leave, but should the relationship end so too will these creatures seek out a new home. Like with all rumors, most take the tales with a grain of salt.

Cupid Cattypillar
Cupid cattypillar is a rare mutation seen among love cattypillar and like love cattypillar appears to be drawn to feelings of love. They are so strongly aligned with this emotion that they are often thought to be manifestations of Livinia and have become associated with her as symbols of love. A favorite old-mhoat's tale even claims that these little creatures settle with couples who are thought to be soulmates or those who are soon to meet their soulmate.

Fishy Cattypillar
This aquatic cousin of the standard cattypillar has abandoned its back limbs in favor of a fish-like tail that allows it to swim through the waterways of Mynros. It spends most of its days on the muddy river bottoms and along the shores of lakes digging through the silt for tasty underwater treats in the form of parasites, cleaning up a turtonic's hide in the process. Like regular cattypillars, these lovable little catfish are popular among the residents of Mynros, especially among farmers who work with water-bound crops which makes them particularly useful in aquatics settlements.

Naked Cattypillar
This hairless variation of cattypillar is particularly odd, often causing an outcry that it isn't even a cattypillar at all! Alas, it is indeed the oddball among this beloved species and has a unique role to go with its appearance. Instead of spending their lives foraging above ground, these cattypillar spend much of their lives underground, blind to the world and following their nose for their next meal. Since they are poorly equipped for digging, these cattypillar tend to follow the routes created by other diggers, such as meringue slugs, burrowing groles, or even vabbits. They are drawn to freshly dug tunnels, where the disturbance in the surrounding soil will draw out parasites for them to eat and where remnants of roots are more easily accessible. Much like their aboveground counterparts, these cattypillar have a voracious appetite and need to keep moving constantly to find their next meal.
