"Welcome to Pride month everyone!! I hope all of you lovely lil mhoats have a good time this month and join the First Light Festival! Which is now set up~ Though that does mean all Spring Event activities are now closed, if you missed out on anything, there is always next year!! Since it is Pride month, we are giving out 5 caps to ANY pride themed images, this includes prompts, regular art and event art~ I'd also like to mention that the minimum requirement for this bonus is that the image must be worth 5 caps! 5 for 5 after all~"

"Like the previous events, The First Light Festival has a unique currency as well, which you can earn by participating. There are also four new traits, as shown above, alongside some cute pets and a Summer Shop! "It is now May! So may I give everyone a news update? I mean, of course, I'll give you lil' mhoatlings one! You all are super wonderful."

"Let me start with a small technical detail. We now have new aliases for authentication purposes, which means you can now use Twitter or Tumblr to join the site. So please tell your friends to join, if they couldn't before! Our mhoat admins also picked out the Guest Artists for the Summer advent and they are working on designs now. I hope you all are ready to see some lovely new adopts soon! I, your lovely guide, would also like to point out that the Spring event is ending soon!! You only have until the end of the month to join in and get the new badge and the currency. Otherwise, you'll have to wait till next year."

"Happy April lil' mhoatlings!!! The News was a bit late due to some unforeseen events. You see, your poor guide, Inkwell, here got fooled. Poor little me!! I couldn't believe it so I took the day off."

"Let me begin with some technical things. You can now open up MYO slots from your inventory. This does replace the need to use the MYO prompt, although the prompt will remain open. Mainly in case anyone requires extra assistance for it or gets an error on their MYO. We also have a small quality of life update for when you add traits. They are all sorted into the categories that they belong to! On a minor note, some of the Aquatic's traits now have art."

"Now onto the big events!!! The Starlight Gala is now upon us, a new shop has opened with plenty of goodies. The Starlight Gala marks the beginning of winter, heavier snowfall is blanketing the islands, many mhoats will find it's nicer inside where it's warm. New events are being set up, keeping everyone together to have fun for the coming year. It's a time for gifts and spending time together. The Gala itself is a formal occasion where mhoats get together to show off their best fashion and have some fun before winter sets in fully."

"Alongside the Gala, there is a new shop that manages seasonal trait upgrades and pets. They have a unique currency, which you can earn by participating in the Gala.
